The Alabama Alcohol Beverage Control has implemented the Responsible Vendor Program (RVP) to regulate the selling, serving and consumption of alcoholic beverages. Training is compulsory for management and employees involved in the selling and servicing of alcoholic beverages. An individual needs to be of 21 years of age to consume or purchase alcohol in the state of Alabama.
